Terms of Service
Last updated: 8 October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply when you use OnCourtAI, including the website at oncourtai.co.uk and the OnCourtAI app on the web, Android and iOS (together, "the service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
How we handle your personal data is explained in our Privacy & Cookie Policy, which forms part of these terms.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian.
- Give accurate details when you register and keep them up to date.
- Your account is for you alone. Keep your password private; you are responsible for anything done through your account.
- Tell us straight away at support@oncourtai.co.uk if you think someone else has used your account.
3. AI analysis is guidance, not professional advice
OnCourtAI analyses your videos automatically using artificial intelligence. Scores, measurements, speeds and coaching tips are estimates. Their accuracy depends on things like camera angle, lighting and video quality, and they can be wrong.
- The analysis is general guidance to help you practise. It is not a substitute for a qualified coach, and it is not medical, physiotherapy or fitness advice.
- Play and train within your own fitness and ability. If you have an injury or a health condition, or feel pain, stop and speak to a qualified professional before following any tip or drill.
- AI-generated content, including chat replies, plans and podcast episodes, may contain mistakes.
4. Your videos and content
You keep ownership of the videos and other content you upload. You give us permission to store, process and analyse that content so we can provide the service to you. That includes sending it to the AI providers described in our Privacy & Cookie Policy. We may also use stroke measurements from your analyses, without your email address or surname, for community statistics, rankings and our Court Report podcast, as that policy explains.
When you upload content, you confirm that:
- you have the right to upload it; and
- anyone else clearly shown in it has agreed to be filmed and analysed, with a parent's or guardian's agreement if they are under 18.
You can delete individual videos in the app at any time.
5. Acceptable use
Please don't:
- upload anything unlawful, offensive or sexually explicit, or anything that infringes someone else's rights;
- use the service to harass or abuse anyone;
- try to break, overload or get around the security or usage limits of the service;
- scrape, copy or resell the service or its content, or use automated tools to access it, without our written permission;
- reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
6. Free and paid plans
The free plan includes a limited number of video uploads each month. Paid plans give you more. The current price and what each plan includes are shown in the app before you buy.
- Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
- We may change prices or plan features. We'll tell you before a price change applies to your subscription, and you can cancel before it does.
- Where we offer a free trial, we'll explain how it works when you start it.
If you subscribe on our website or Android app
Payments are processed by Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your Profile in the app. Your paid features continue until the end of the period you have already paid for, and then your account returns to the free plan. If something has gone wrong with a payment, contact us at support@oncourtai.co.uk.
If you subscribe in the iOS app
Payment is taken by Apple through your Apple ID, and Apple's terms for App Store purchases also apply. You manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions), and you must cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid renewal. Refunds for in-app purchases are handled by Apple, not by us. Deleting your OnCourtAI account does not cancel an Apple subscription, so cancel it with Apple as well.
If you are a consumer, you have legal rights under UK consumer law, and nothing in these terms affects them.
7. Changes to the service
We are always improving OnCourtAI, so features may be added, changed or removed. We may also need to pause the service for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. If we make a change that significantly reduces what you're paying for, you can cancel your subscription.
8. Ending your account
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time from your Profile in the app, or by emailing support@oncourtai.co.uk. What happens to your data afterwards is explained in our Privacy & Cookie Policy.
We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Where it's reasonable to do so, we will tell you first.
9. Our responsibility to you
- We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. Because analysis is automated and depends on your video, we can't promise it will always be accurate, available or free of errors.
- We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for injuries caused by how you choose to train or play.
- Apart from the exceptions below, if we are responsible for a loss, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the loss happened.
- Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law does not allow us to limit.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. If a change is significant, we'll let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, you accept the new terms.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring them in your local courts.
